About me
Who We Are:
The group consists of concerned citizens of the Box and Stour Valleys who have suddenly found themselves living under new flight paths which have been imposed without prior consultation concerning the noise, pollution and dangers associated with the new routings.
Aims:
1. To identify, address and modify the legal and
administrative process which has allowed in excess of 120 relatively low flying aircraft per day to be re-routed over our previously peaceful area without any consultation with the affected population and with no opportunity to appeal by that population.
2. To ensure that any further changes or increases in numbers, levels and flight paths are undertaken only after full consultation with the population under either the
current or any future flight paths.
3. To campaign long term and fair solution to the problems of noise and pollution due to the forecast increase in air traffic in Suffolk and adjacent counties over the next decades.
