DAY TO DAY FUNDING FOUND - FEBRUARY 2007
The cost of food and basic supplies for the Orphanage at the moment is the relativeley small sum of approximately £250 per month. This covers a very simple but adequate diet of rice and vegetables, electricity and telephone etc. Until last year most of this came from an American Church Charity but this source dried up last autumn. Since then donations have covered the costs.
Now the ongoing costs are covered for at least a year through the generosity of people in England. Already more than 25 have committed to pay £10 per month and its is hoped that others will make similar committments so that more children can be accomodated. Most of the contributors are Reading Maiden Erlegh Rotarians and their families and friends and the Orphanage is very grateful for their support.
