A warm welcome to my website. Coins are my hobby. They give me hours of enjoyment whether I am studying them, researching them, photographing them, publishing them or recording them. Because of this I like to pass on my love of numismatics to others by helping them with coin-related problems whenever I can. This way I can use my interest for the good of others ...... never a bad thing !! It also helps to justify [especially to my wife and kids] the long hours I spend with coins instead of them ...... yes I am guilty of this !! Although over the years I have learned a great deal from and about the coinage of my chosen era : Anglo-Saxon and early Medieval coinage.

Send me clear images of the obverse and reverse of the coin if possible, with a brief summary of any information you already have. Coins do not necessarily have to be from my chosen era for me to identify them. Later hammered and milled coins/tokens etc... are all welcome. Broken coins and fragments etc.. no problem at all. I will also willingly answer all coin related questions and queries.
