REBELS RETREAT, Sterndale Moor February 2007
The last Saturday in the month was a humdinger. A goodly crowd turned up to hear that fantastic duo, Westride, from Macclesfield. The female half, Vikki, dressed in Native American gear, does the chat and the singing, and the male half, Rob, does the lead guitar playing and the instrumentals.Vikki sang with a genuine American accent, and the song 'If You're Lookin' At Me You're Lookin' At Country,' just fitted the whole night. She even managed variations in her costume, which included a tomahawk, with which she threatened Rob during 'I Swear.' Fortunately he managed to go home with his neck intact – for now!
