August 26th, 2008-Giggle Monster
After a hard day at daycare, Oliver and I sat in the living room. He was sitting in my lap, staring up at me with eyes that said, "I'm so glad you came back." Ok...I admit that was mom's interpretation. As we sat, we were having quite the conversation, a coo here, goo there and all of the sudden, a giggle popped out! And not just one, two, then three, the four, a whole slew of them all in a row!
September 8th, 2008-On the Move!
This morning when dad went to get Oliver up from a long night of sleep, he had a surprise in store for him. A bright-eyed Oliver was waiting for him 90 degrees from where we placed him the night before! I guess a little wiggle goes a long way!
November 2008, Jump Around
Oliver has changed so much in the past month...he can sit up on his own for a few minutes, he is reaching and moving toward his toys, he can roll back and forth...but we think his favorite new trick is bouncing. Oliver LOVES to bounce, he bounces when he is sitting and standing on our laps, in his jumper and exersaucer, even when he is laying down...if his feet can touch another surface, he is bouncing...and always with a big grin.
