Kate Nash v2.0 - Oxford Zodiac, October 25, 2007
Except the music, the first concert was a bit rubbish! The venue was VERY hot, most of the audience spent most of the time chatting to mates and Miss Nash was generally in a not very good mood!I already had tickets for the Oxford date, and decided to still go to get a better experience.
Having no mates, I could not give the spare ticket away - in the end, I sold it on ebay - £21 to Jason.
Jason - he was obviously a big fan…..when I arrived at the venue at 1845, he was on the phone to me a little concern that he had was not in possession of his ticket. He was first in the queue and later on, I saw him on the TV screens - front row, center spot, big black back of head to camera.
The venue was rammed full of women - average age of 16 all wearing those soft ballet shoes things or ug boots - luckily, there were some slightly older people at the back - I hung with them.
A much better gig - and the band is now less the terrible female violin player - she has been replaced by a guitarist - phew!
