Luminox
This is one of the events to celebrate 1000 years of Oxfordshire. All the city lights were put out, and Broad St was filled with amazing fire sculptures and machines. Came home smelling a bit funny, but it was fun! More info at http://www.oxfordshire2007.com/listings/showevent.asp?Event=50

Isle of Skye
SO COOL!! Definitely going back here! I spent a week staying in a great little B&B in Digg (www.leabank.co.uk), which is way up north on the Trotternish penninsula. I spent all my days up before dawn, in waterproofs, rolling around the mountains, beaches, etc and took about 8GB of pictures. Luckily, you only have to see a few of them :-), and also luckily, you don't have to get as wet as I did!
