Status

Russian visa - 95% complete.
Packing - 70%....need to re do.
Food - having a last good meal at Ashford Cottage with friends.
Medical - supplies received and packed.
Bike - MOT and ready to go.

Only 3 days to go......but i have to go to work on Friday :o(

Back at work.....

.....found myself back at work.  Obviously, not actually working, but in the building.  Came in to pick up my new glasses....yes, i now wear glasses!!

BMW dealer experience

Mentioning no names (but i live near to Chelmsford), the service i received from the BMW dealership was RUBBISH.

The guy that actually did the work was really good - everyone else (apart from one of the salesguys) was just a bit abrupt and useless.

Monday lay in

My dream of not having to turn the alarm clock on as i go to bed on a sunday was realised last night!!!  And to top it all, i woke up dreaming about a gorgeous girl!!! 

Today i signed over all my bank accounts to my mother...she now has full (legal) access to every thing i own. 

Less than two weeks to go.......

Final real day at work

So....i had my final real day at work....it was mainly spent in meetings talking about rails.

Thanks to my friends for my card and gift - it was really appreciated and i hope, in the future, NOT to post pictures of me having to use it!!!

I now have two weeks to organise this trip so i do not spend 6 months trying to get into Russia (still no visa....had no news from Tatiana)

Panic and relief

Panic - Had a bit of a panic over my russian visa today.....will i get it and will it get me in!!!???

The lovely Tatiana is helping me out....but is a little short on answers...especially when i ask her a difficult question like:

This business visa....will it let me in and out of Russia 3 times and how do i register it?

Relief - last real day at work tomorrow....how good is that going to feel!!!!????
