Neopets Fun for Beginners

Ohh so busy

Due to some unforseen circumstances and not being well i haven't written for a while. However although i'm quite busy at this time of year I still like to play Neopets and suddenly realised I haven't managed to write anything other than rough notes for my guide. I plan on doing a little each day and will update you as to what i have been doing so far.

I have some new pets now - I even managed to get a rare Jetsam pet, released only on Jetsam day! I'm holding on to him for a little while as if you fight him in the battledome you get a nice avatar (avie) to use on your look up and the message boards and these are quite collectable! After my friends and family have challenged him and when the adoption pound is back up, he will be going to a new home, as its my brothers favorite pet and he has wanted one for a long time. I also have a xweetok (cute pet) and an elephante who happens to be my lab rat and gets zapped everyday - so she may not stay an elephante for long. Don't worry though she is quite excited at the thought of a new look and has already been painted into Maraquan which is the sort after water pet colour. Have a look in my photo gallery for some pictures, you can also see my shields that appear on your lookup to show how old your account is. At the moment the oldest shield is 6 years but there are poor players who have been playing longer than that, hopefully they will get a new shield soon.

This last week has been busy on neopets in the event of the AAA Challenge, running for one week only with lots of gaming challenges, prizes and a very nice trophy on my user lookup. I have also put some new things in my gallery and spent a lot of time learning about clothing pets, something i hope to bring to you in my full guide a little later on. My shop has grown too but i'm still not very good at Restocking, however i do try to have some nice priced items for other players to buy. I specialise in Plushies and toys but manage to find all sorts of items.

I'm off to put a few more pictures into my photo gallery and then i shall be working on my guide. Happy Neopetting :)

day out.

Yesterday we took a family trip to the beach, which was thoughly enjoyed by all. This means i haven't played much on neopets or completed the small amount of research i was supposed to be doing. This guide is going to take me longer than i thought! I still think all being well i can have the first part up and running soon. I was tempted to keep everything private until i'd written the whole guide but decided if i do it section by section it will be helpful from the first posting, and also will hopefully invite comments and questions for those interested.

If you do have any questions or suggestions, or just want to share your neopets experiance just click the contact me button. If you are a younger person please make sure your parents are aware of this, and indeed give their permission, I know its boring but its better to be safe than sorry.

On a lighter note my shop is doing quite well, but i need a much wider stock. I must spend a day researching all the toys and plushies that are available (or several days as i think the list may be bigger than i think it is!!)

Welcome to my etribes page

Hi, and welcome to my Neopets Diary! I am currently writting a guide as you will have gathered if you've read my Home page [ok if you run quickly and read it now and  I'll forgive you!] I'm not sure how long this will take so you may have to bear with me. The other use for this site is going to be to chart my own goals and successes [and hopefully not too many failures]

My current aims include building up my shop which sells plushies and toys as well as other bits and pieces; Saving for a laboratory map that will zap a chosen pet into a different colour/species; building up my gallery which is tiger item themed and collecting some more avaters (avies) that are currently in my range.

Later goals will include building a neohome with themed rooms; training a pet ready for battledoming; entering the story competitions on a regular basis and having a go at designing my own shop background. I also will eventually try to collect avies that cost lots of neopoints or require certain high scores in games, as well as gaining a few more trophies for my look up page on neopets. I realise at this point i may have bitten off more than i can chew, however i intend to have as much fun as possible trying for all these goals. To help people decide what goals to go for i will include various aspects of these things within my guide.

As my Guide is a work in progress my Goal for this week is to have the first part up for viewing as soon as possible, I have my rough draft written out already. I need to work out the subsequent parts [plenty of ideas] and also sort out some pictures for my posts.
