Out and about

Check out the new galleries...Black Mountains & Cornwall.

Spent the bank holiday weekend in the black mountains with Jo, Otte & Joshua, Dave, Susanah & Lizzie..of course jen too.

 Then had a weeks camping with jen in Cornwall down nr Penzance.

Both trips such a reminder of how beautiful the UK is....especially when the sun shines!!

Had a great time last bank hoilday w/e doing a garden makeover with my homegroup. Eddie lives next door to our homegroup hosts and his garden needed a little sorting. This is part of our churches termly community action projects.

Camping with the Grices

Check out the new gallery 'camping with the Grices' for a few pics. Had a lovely sunny weekend camping just outside Bristol. The main feature of the weekend...their new caravan, which Gricey apparently accidentally bought on ebay! I sadly have to admit i almost fell for it...it's almost a camper van which you can just take off the car...unfortunately it just doesn't have the kudos!

Dave Scull, had us in stiches recently with his unicycle. Now the guantlet is down...I'm going to learn to unicycle this summer..he's got to learn to juggle clubs. hopefully we'll be passing clubs on unicycles by Sept!!!

Pool Party at Arwels

Thanks to Arwel for another hilarious pool party. Much fun was had with the latest invention from Mike, see photo's. Colin, as always, did a sterling job with the food, keeping the burgers flowing until I was fit to burst. Kobi & Dan proved to have more energy than us adults put together!

P.S. I've got some cool movie clips of the pole battles (don't think i can put them on this site), remind me to show you next time you see me.

Easter in Manchester

Had a lovely week in Manchester with the family. I went out for a walk around Dove Stones resevoir with the Norris's & Broad/Freemans. Check out the photo's. Was the furthest I've been able to walk in 6 years!

Whats on my mind?

I've been thinking alot about two things:

1. Starting a social action organisation aimed at raising money for youth projects that are aimed at reclaiming young peoples identity. i think young people are loosing their identity to inactive communities, lack of adventure & growing up too early through a culture that is immersed in money, volience, sex & playstations!

2. Theres a hideous war going on in uganda. A rouge army called 'The lords resistance' is abducting young kids from northern Ugandan villages and then forcing them to commit brutal acts of volicence. There are lots of organisations trying to support the reabilitation of these kids. I'd like to be involved in some way

What have i been up to recently?

Holiday in Dubai

Hi all, i've just got back form a very cool holiday in Dubai. Aj & Ceri live out there (i know Aj from Surrey uni days). its a mad place full of glittering skyscrapers & century old Souks (market). This is the place where they are in the middle of creating three huge off shore islands by reclaiming land by dredging sand from th sea floor and dumping onto the same spot. Two of the islands are giant Palms and the other i the world, people will be able to purchase a country when its ready .. I fancy New Zealand!
