...when you turn up to go sailing and you see this!!!
When you are greeted with a hot air balloon taking off you know there is little chance of going sailing! Shame, but a nice view none the less!
...but what happened to his hair, it's fallen onto his chin!
Painted all the fascias this weekend, and window. Even installed first side of guttering. Amazing how there is so much less daylight now. Didn't even manage to stop for photos so you'll have to wait!
Well, after another solid weekend on the roof we are now waterproof with around 45% of the tiles laid! The rain really did not help, but we are getting there! Still probably another weekend required to fit the rest of the tiles.
Ok, so we are getting nearer to putting up the roof! It sounds like a challenge, for which there are not many volunteers! The trusses are big andnot the easiest to handle manually! Anyway, we always like a challenge!
Building projects are very frustrating, especially in the beginning, all that effort (and money) thrown under the ground! It all starts getting a little better when you can see something for your money. Here is to building above the ground!
