Who shot Phil?
For those of you who attended mashup* April on Tuesday at BT Centre - this heading makes sense. For those of you who didn't - or were asleep :) it won't.
If you did attend and haven't already please give us your feedback here.
Thank for you making mashup* a great evening again and particular thanks to the speakers and panel members. As expected the conversation was quite diverse but I certainly learnt a few things and met some very interesting people during the networking over drinks and food.
Thanks again for BT for supporting mashup* and we look forward to seeing you at the next event - details will be available soon.
As many people asked please find:
mashup* - 24th April, BT Centre, London
The next mashup* will be held from 6pm - 8:30pm on the 24th April at BT Centre (St-Pauls), London.
Many thanks to BT for their support of mashup*:
The theme will be:
Identity 2.0: my digital identity is an asset, but who owns it?
The evening session will address the following issues
- What is Digital Identity?
- Why is it so important?
- Trust. Who should I trust and why should I be trusted?
- Authentication. How far is reasonable?
- Interoperability. Does this OpenID provider work with that consumer?
- Transactions. Don't confuse Paypal's needs with Digg's wants?
- Complexity. OpenID is relatively easy, Cardspace is somewhat harder!
- Real world use cases. How do I keep my profile up to date everywhere?
Speakers & contributors include:
Tom Ilube - CEO of Garlik (ex CIO of Egg PLC)
Edgar Whitley - Reader in Information Systems (London School of Economics)
Simon Wilison - OpenID consultant (and the best speaker on OpenID we've seen)
Luke Razzell - Founder of the Identity Society
Julian Bond - CTO Ecademy
Graham Sadd - Founder & CEO - PAOGA
Simon Grice - Founder of Midentity/etribes
